The clay mug that you make during the workshop will need to fully dry which can take up to a week.
Then the mug will undergo two firings in the kiln to make it fully functional. The firing process takes up another week.
First is a bisque firing which removes moisture and hardens the clay, preparing it for glazing. Your cup will then be glazed (coloured) and will go in for glaze firing, which makes the cup waterproof and ready to use.
After 2 weeks, you can either come to collect your mug at no extra cost or have it delivered to your home by paying the delivery charge.
