I don’t generally do custom work. But if you really like my work and couldn’t find what you were looking for in the shop, then send me an email at shimona@studioartinject.com and we can discuss the prospect of the project.
Step 1: Do you have a specific size in mind? If not, then share a picture and dimensions of the space in your home where you intend to house the art, and I can help you decide what size of painting will work best in the space. Also let me know if you have any specific colour palette in mind to compliment your space.
Step 2: Pick a few images of my work that you like, from my Instagram, so that I can get a feel of the style, composition and palette that you’re drawn to.
Step 3: Once we have agreed upon an idea for the commission, you will be sent an invoice for the creation of your custom artwork along with an approximate timeline of completion.
Your total payment is broken up into two parts. The first half is due as a non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking for a commissioned artwork and to compensate me for the time that will be spent ideating and creating the first draft of your commission piece. The second and final half will be due once your custom artwork has been completed.
Step 4: You will be made a part of the process, in as much as images and videos will be sent to you at various stages of the commission work. You will be sent a draft of the work after finalising the composition sketch and the working colour palette. At this stage you can suggest any changes you have in mind; the suggested changes will be implemented and you will receive a draft containing the same. Once you are satisfied, I will start working on the final piece. Please note that no changes can be made once the final artwork has been made.
Step 5: After the last invoice + shipping charges have been paid, your custom artwork will be carefully packed and shipped to you.

The best way to display your purchased paintings is to:
- In case you want a rustic look, i.e., if you want the painting to be visible upto its edges (for instance to show off the deckled edges of the paper):
Use an acid free backing board, attach the edges of the painting to the same using an acid free double-sided tape at the back side of the painting. It is important to have some space between the painting and the glass of the frame so that the painting has some room to breathe, and the moisture doesn’t get trapped therein (which will reactivate the water-soluble paint and probably cause smudging). For this reason, it is a good idea to use a box frame in this instance.
- In case you want a cleaner look, i.e., if you want to the painting to be cropped at the edges:
Use an acid free backing board, this is important no matter what kind of framing you choose to go for. Place the painting on top of the backing board and add an acid free matting/ passe-partout on top of the painting to frame its edges and create space between the painting and the glass of the frame.
Protect your painting from dust and direct sunlight.
The colour of the frame itself is a matter of personal choice, and depends greatly on the artwork itself. If you want my help and suggestion in choosing a frame for an original painting you have purchased from me, please feel free to reach out to me at shimona@studioartinject.com

If you have any further questions about the status of your order, not addressed in the Shipping Information page, please contact shimona@studioartinject.com
All sales are final. Due to the specialized nature of this work, returns and/or exchanges are generally not accepted. Every order, commission, and sale is handled with care, and as much clarity & transparency as possible.
Please make sure to read product descriptions, dimensions, and our policies carefully before completing your purchase.
Note about colours: Everyone sees colours a little differently. Additionally, computers are calibrated a little differently as well. We do our best to upload unedited pictures of the work (to represent the accurate colours of the artwork), photographed in natural light from multiple angles so that you can get a good look at what you’re investing into.
If you’re still feeling unsure about the colours, then maybe try looking at the images on your friends’ computer so that you can look at the images at differently calibrated devices.
If you have any further questions about refund, kindly refer to the Shipping and Refund not addressed in the Shipping Information & Refund Policy page.
